JUSTO BLANCO
A Dallas-native, Chef Justo’s talent and curiosity have led him literally around the world, beginning with the Texas Culinary Academy in Austin, where he ranked first in his class, and then onto Executive Chef stops in places as disparate as Belgium and Laguna Beach, California. Chef Justo continued to refine his technique and flavors via time spent in Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand while attending Bai Pai Cooking school of Bangkok.
After returning to the United States and time in San Francisco, Chef Justo returned to Dallas as Chef de Cuisine of Scene Restaurant, followed by a stint at the Four Seasons running banquets and special events. More recently he has run the food programs at Bolsa Mercado alongside time spent at The Statler and Joule hotels. His incredible background led him to be the perfect fit for Boxwood’s newly expanded catering service.
